Many organisations run maintenance in one tool and stores and finance in another. In RA-Core, the facility management modules — assets and locations, preventive maintenance, helpdesk and corrective maintenance, technician scheduling, inspections, and maintenance budget and costing — work on the same database as inventory, HR and accounting.
From fault report to closed job
A request reaches the helpdesk, becomes a corrective work order and is assigned to a technician. Preventive plans create their own visits by calendar or meter reading. Both kinds of work appear on one schedule, so supervisors can balance the load and see what is running late.
